process and Cost of Treatment

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy is a time-intensive treatment. It differs from more traditional forms of therapy and psychiatric care in that the cost of treatment occurs upfront, instead of over the course of months or years. It is possible that an intensive form of therapy, like KAP, can lower the amount a client needs to spend on their mental health in the future. It is important that the client is aware of the cost and time commitment of KAP.

All Ketamine care will begin with a required 1-hour consultation appointment with Cymande Baxter-Rogers of Wild Seed Psych. Cymande Baxter-Rogers is dual board certified family and psychiatric nurse practitioner and is additionally trained in psychedelic therapy. Cymande brings 20 years of experience and expertise and has worked with hundreds of clients on their KAP journeys since 2017. An initial consultation is not a guarantee of treatment. To schedule your initial session with Cymande, please e-mail her at cymande@wildseedpsych.com.

Once KAP is deemed safe and appropriate for you, your prescription (sublingual lozenge) will be ordered and mailed to you and we will move forward with a treatment plan consisting of a series of medicine and integration sessions. The medicine sessions will be 3 hours in length, and will be conducted by Keri Fernald LCMHC of Farmhouse KAP. The integration session will be held 1-3 days after the medication session either in person or via telehealth, and will be up to 55-minutes in length. The length and cost of the overall treatment plan will vary greatly based on many factors, including the following: the condition being treated, its severity and the pharmacological response to ketamine.

  • 1 initial consultation with Wild Seed Psych (The intake process includes phone or in person screening, review of intake questionnaires, consultation with relevant collateral providers) $300 (55 mins)

  • 1 integration session in the days after each KAP medicine session $185 (55 minutes) These can possibly be billed as psychotherapy sessions to insurance, if I am in network with your insurance company. I am also happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company.
